There are, of course, a great many processes of print-ing that come under the general heading of relief orletterpress printing, many of which have been used toproduce postage stamps. Techniques of operation differin different countries and in different printing establish-ments. It is pointless to try and review them all hereeven if the author were qualified to do so.
